What kind of connection

Five ways internet can reach your home.

Not every home has fiber. Not every home needs it. We help you match the right technology to where you live and how you use the internet.

Fiber

Fastest option. Symmetrical upload and download. Best for multi-device households, heavy streaming, and working from home.

Cable

Widely available in cities and suburbs. Very fast downloads; uploads are usually slower than fiber. Great for most families.

5G Home

Wireless, no wire to your house. Available in more towns each year. A strong option where fiber hasn't arrived yet.

Satellite

Covers anywhere with a clear sky view. Often the best real option for rural homes that fiber and cable don't reach.

DSL

Uses existing phone lines. Slower than fiber and cable, but reaches places the others don't - often a solid, affordable backup.

Is Hanz an internet provider?
No. Hanz is not an internet service provider. We help you find and compare plans from leading providers. The provider you choose installs and bills the service.
Do I pay Hanz anything?
No. There is no fee, no markup, and no middle-man charge. You pay the internet provider directly, at their published price. Our commission is paid by the provider.
How do you know which providers serve my address?
We check availability with each of our five partner providers using the address you give us. Coverage depends on the wiring, fiber, or satellite footprint at that specific location.
How long does installation take after I enroll?
It varies by provider and technology - self-install kits can arrive in a few business days; professional installation typically takes one to two weeks. We'll give you the provider's current ETA on the call.
Do I need to cancel my current internet before I switch?
Yes - you cancel your existing service directly with your current provider. We can advise on timing so you don't end up paying both at the same time, and so you're not offline between services.
What if only one of your partners serves my address?
We'll tell you that plainly. If a single option is genuinely the best available at your home, we'll say so. If nothing we sell is worth switching to, we'll tell you that too.
Can Hanz guarantee a specific speed or price?
No. Speeds and pricing are set and guaranteed by each provider, not by Hanz. When you call, we quote the provider's current published price for the plan that fits your address.
What if I move or want to cancel later?
Your service agreement is with the provider, not Hanz. Any changes, moves, or cancellations go through the provider's support team directly. We can point you to the right number if you need it.
Will my information be shared or sold?
No. We use your details only to check availability and to enroll you with the provider you choose. We don't sell leads. See our Privacy Policy for the full policy.
Do you help with business internet?
